Shake Hands: Court Advise to Feuding Nitin Gadkari and Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi: Union minister Nitin Gadkari and politician Arvind Kejriwal should strike a truce, advised the Delhi High Court today, which wants them to "shake hands" in "public interest" instead of feuding in a defamation suit. In January, Mr Gadkari sued Mr Kejriwal, head of the Aam Aadmi Party, for linking him to corruption. "Nothing is there, why can't you both parties shake hands and finish off the matter on an amicable note? Why don't you bury the hatchet and utilise time in a more productive manner?" the two judges of the High Court said today, reproaching, "You both are renowned politicians, people look up to You." Pehle aap, was the response of Mr Kejriwal's lawyer, Shanti Bhushan, who said, "They (Gadkari) went to the court first, so let them withdraw their complaint but we will not withdraw our statement or any of the allegations made as we have proofs for all the issues raised by us."

When in power Congress used to give such absurd statements and now BJP is exactly doing the same.  Is there any difference between BJP and Congress? Did people choose BJP to hear these kind of statements? Is this good governance? BJP knows that Delhi's people will ask these questions to them, that's why BJP is runnnig away from re-elections.

After onion, it’s tomato and potato to follow: Where is government?

# Tomato prices touch 100 rupees per kg # Potato prices also skyrocket # Government steps wholly inadequate New Delhi: Two months after assuming office, the Modi Government still seems to be groping in dark on how to tackle the rising prices of essential commodities.  The way prices of essential commodities have gone up in recent past, it shows the government has completely lost control over the state apparatus and is still looking for a policy direction vis-a-vis price rise and inflation. While tomato prices are touching Rs 100 per kg, particularly in and around the National Capital Region, potato prices are also skyrocketing. Potato prices have touched 45 rupees per kg in Bangalore  On the one hand, the government cannot figure out why tomato supplies have suddenly dwindled and how to clear supply bottlenecks, on the other hand it has completely failed to notice the mindless export of potatoes to Pakistan and announce measures to strike a price balance by announcing
