With 'Kejriwal Aayenge' Hoardings Across Delhi, AAP Launches New Slogan With Two Messages

Delhi's political landscape has once again been electrified with the launch of a new election slogan by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) — "Kejriwal Aayenge" (Kejriwal will return). As the city gears up for the upcoming assembly elections scheduled for early 2025, this slogan serves as a clarion call, signaling that AAP's campaign will be centered around its chief, Arvind Kejriwal, who has been incarcerated since March this year.

The slogan "Kejriwal Aayenge" carries a dual message. First, it reaffirms AAP's determination that the party, under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, will form the government in Delhi once again. Despite Kejriwal's absence due to his imprisonment on charges related to a money laundering case connected to the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy, AAP is confident that his leadership remains pivotal to their electoral success.

Secondly, the slogan challenges the narrative set by the BJP-led central government, which the AAP alleges is responsible for Kejriwal's imprisonment. The party argues that Kejriwal’s arrest is a result of a conspiracy to derail the progress in Delhi and discredit their governance. AAP maintains that the charges against Kejriwal are baseless and politically motivated, aimed at preventing him from continuing his work in Delhi.

Hoardings bearing the slogan "Kejriwal Aayenge" have been strategically placed across Delhi, reinforcing the party's message and rallying support. AAP’s National General Secretary (Organisation), Sandeep Pathak, emphasized the strong sentiment among the people of Delhi and the country towards Kejriwal. According to Pathak, many of Delhi's public works have stalled since Kejriwal's arrest, and the public eagerly anticipates his return to expedite these projects and address pending issues.

Pathak further claimed that the BJP and the Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Delhi have been attempting to hinder the city's development in Kejriwal’s absence. Despite the challenges, he assured that the Delhi government is striving to continue its work, but acknowledged that Kejriwal's presence would significantly enhance the speed and efficiency of public service delivery.

The slogan "Manish Ji aa gaye, Kejriwal ji bhi aayenge" (Manish Ji has come, Kejriwal Ji will also come) has also gained traction. This chant emerged after senior AAP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was released from jail earlier this month, following a 17-month incarceration. Sisodia has since embarked on a ‘padayatra’ across various assembly constituencies in Delhi, engaging directly with the public and echoing the belief that Kejriwal too will soon be released.

As Sisodia listens to the concerns of the people during his padayatra, the slogan has become a rallying cry, resonating with the masses who are hopeful for Kejriwal's return. AAP believes that this sentiment will translate into votes in the upcoming elections, ensuring that their vision for Delhi, led by Kejriwal, will be realized once again.

In conclusion, the "Kejriwal Aayenge" campaign is not just about an election; it's about reclaiming the narrative and reinforcing the belief in Kejriwal's leadership. As the political battle intensifies, AAP’s focus remains steadfast on ensuring that Arvind Kejriwal returns to lead Delhi into the future.
